KATIE GRACE + IZAAC WILSON + DAISY KANE + SPECIAL GUEST
The Troubadour, SW5 9JA , [Venue Details]Katie Grace's wistful singer-songwriter musings are steeped in the coastal scenery and larger-than-life characters of the North East coast where the artist found her feet...
... landing somewhere between Sam Fender, Joni Mitchell and CMAT, crowds are instantly charmed by her witty rapport and heartfelt lyricism.
A recipient of the Alan Hull Award for songwriting, in memory of the late Lindisfarne frontman, her roots have been in the richly creative North Shields scene since she was 13, busking and gigging across the region. 2025 saw Katie and her band take to the main stage of the Mouth of the Tyne festival in her hometown, Tynemouth. Now aged 20, Katie splits her time between the North East of England and South East London, where she studies music.
Singer / Guitarist Izaac Wilson spins together heartfelt folk and rock in a way that has drawn comparisons with Pinegrove, The 1975, and Alex G, and which Sam Fender once described as ‘keeping the emo tradition alive’. With his roots in the lively North Shields songwriter scene, he is now based in London, where he studies, writes, and performs music.
Daisy Kane - London-based singer-songwriter, raised in the Gloucestershire countryside, creating alternative folk shaped by the songwriting of Joni Mitchell, Radiohead, Nick Drake and Laura Marling.
